Someone Submitted A Video Clip to My Group Video, but I Don't See It

When a video is submitted to your Group Video, Memento will send you an e-mail notifying you of that submission that looks like this:

If you do not receive a notification for a submitted video clip in your Group Video, here are some troubleshooting steps to consider:

  1. Check your Spam or Junk Folder: Sometimes, email notifications may end up in these folders, so ensure to look there if you don't see the notification in your inbox.
  2. Incomplete Submission: If someone informs you they submitted a video clip but you didn't receive a notification or see the clip on your Dashboard, it's possible that the submission wasn't completed successfully. They might have exited prematurely before completing the process.
  3. Submitter's Own Account: In rare cases, the submitter might mistakenly create their own account and Group Video, submitting the video clip to it instead of yours. They would receive the confirmation email instead of you. In this situation, ask them to resubmit the video using your Record & Upload Link.
  4. Confirmation Signs: Encourage submitters to follow the submission steps carefully and look for confirmation signs that their video clip was received, such as a confirmation message or email.
  5. Contact Support: If the submitter confirms a successful second attempt but you still don't receive a notification or see the video on your Dashboard, feel free to reaching out for further assistance.
